The Service Technician 2 is responsible for providing excellent customer service through servicing and repairing
trailers and installing truck beds, snowplows, towing systems, and other related products.
Responsible for the organization and safety of the service areas of the facility. Sells parts and performs service.
Engages with customers to sell, discuss, and explain repairs, installations, and solutions. Ensures that a proper supply
of regularly needed shop supplies is maintained through communication with management
Perform service, repair, and accessory installation on new and used trailers, truck beds, trailer tow vehicles and
snowplows.
- Partner with supervisor to maintain Service Scheduler.
- test, adjust, and repair bearings, lights, wiring, and brake assemblies of trailers and two vehicles.
- Replace and repair worn and defective parts. Lays out, fits, drills, screws, rivets, and welds to repair, replace and/or
install parts and accessories on trailers, truck beds, tow vehicles, snowplows, and up-fitting accessories. Installs
wood or metal flooring •

- Help customers hook up trailers. Perform visual safety inspection (lights, safety chain, decking, etc.)
- Perform warranty service and completes required documentation.
- Complete service paperwork or computer system entry completely and timely.
- Maintain service parts log and submit to management as required.
- Assist in the maintenance of parts inventory for store including purchasing of parts and supplies, receiving POs,
and Cycle Counts.
- Assemble trailers, park and move trailers.
- Other duties, as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
