Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic electrical knowledge, 1 - 2 years in the trade, and the willingness to learn. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Duties
- Assist licensed electricians in the installation and repair of electrical systems on residential and commercial projects.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete daily tasks as directed.
- Learn to read blueprints and technical diagrams to understand project specifications.
- Conduct tests using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
- Support the team in low voltage installations and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and best practices.
Skills
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in electrical work.
- Basic, working electrical knowledge
- Basic understanding of low voltage systems and their applications.
- Knowledge of NEC regulations is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- 1 to 2 years of electrical experience is required, experience on construction sites is a plus.
- Must have the ability to lift, pull, and push 50lbs regularly.
- Must be able to work outside in the Florida environment/weather.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
