Job Description:
As a Plumber's Apprentice at Ark Plumbing, you will work closely with our experienced plumbers to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone looking to gain valuable industry experience, with opportunities to grow and advance within our company. You will be learning everything from basic repairs to complex plumbing systems under the guidance of a seasoned master plumber.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures
- Support in troubleshooting plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and water pressure problems
- Handle tools, materials, and equipment required for each job
- Follow instructions from senior plumbers to ensure work is performed to high standards
- Keep job sites clean and organized, and ensure safety procedures are followed
- Participate in learning opportunities to improve knowledge and skills in plumbing
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude on job sites
Requirements:
- Strong interest in learning the plumbing trade
- Ability to follow instructions and take initiative
- Reliable transportation to get to Cedar Park
- Good physical condition; ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions (e.g., tight spaces, outdoor environments)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to work full-time and possibly overtime, including weekends, if necessary
- 6+ months experience preferred but not required
