Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Building Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Prepare and review project estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
- Utilize project management software such as ProCore for tracking project progress and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.
Skills
- Strong background in construction management with a solid understanding of construction estimating techniques.
- Proficient in project scheduling methodologies to effectively manage timelines.
- Experience with Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Familiarity with Civil 3D for site design and grading plans is a plus.
- Excellent project coordination skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven expertise in project management principles and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
