Qualified Licensed HVAC Technician Should Have:
- 4+ years’ experience in HVAC field
- Associate degree in HVAC Technology or related field or equivalent HVAC related trade Journeyman program.
- At least two years of this experience should involve a leadership role in an HVAC trade related working team.
- EPA certification
- NH Gas Fitters License
- Other trade related certifications a plus
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Licensed HVAC Technician Duties To Include:
- Abilities to install, maintain, and repair the following Commercial & Residential HVAC/R equipment: - Gas Furnaces, Boilers, & Hot Water Heaters - Oil Furnaces, Boilers & Hot Water Heaters - Walk In Coolers & Freezers -Reach In Coolers & Freezers - Ice machines - Various HVAC/R Controls (Tekmar, Taco, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Paragon, White Rodgers, Ranco, KE2, Trane, Intelligen, ICM, Field Controls, Tjernlund, Siemens, Lennox, York, Emerson, Mitsubishi, Copeland, EWC, Hydrolevel, McDonnell & Miller, Danfoss, Hoffman, Bell & Gossett, Kolpak, Manitowoc)
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
- Professionally communicate clearly with customers.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC/R systems.
- Clean, adjust, and repairing systems, as well as perform warranty services.
- Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Provide technical direction and on-the-job training. Training junior team members. Setting an example for junior team members to follow.
- Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
- Order and maintain equipment
- Quote repairs & replacements on site
- Ensure compliance with appliance standards with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
- Meet local HVAC/R codes - Assisting with customers' queries.
