With an on-call rotation of every 5-7 weeks, our maintenance on-call program offers a clear-cut and flexible system for all our staff. Not only does this give them peace of mind knowing what the schedule looks like every 1-2 months, but it allows our employees the ability to plan with their families and friends. We know your time is valuable, so as a thank you for taking call you will receive a $100 bonus for each week that you’re on call, as long as all calls are responded to appropriately. This bonus doubles if you have to report to a call on a holiday!

Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the safety, appearance, and maintenance of the apartment community. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Inspect and coordinate all work necessary to make apartments ready for our newest residents.
- Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair, as directed, involving the following daily: Electrical and plumbing, A/C and heating systems, appliances, stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings, tile, carpet, flooring, roofing, gutters, fasteners, interior/exterior lights, fireplaces, ceiling fans, shutters, doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors, door locks, P.O. boxes and locks, ceiling leaks, walls.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a general maintenance position, experience in apartment maintenance preferred
- The ability to work with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall/painting and appliance repairs
- While not a requirement, HVAC/CFC certification is a quality of a stand-out candidate
- Must have their own basic tools and reliable transportation.
We offer the following benefits:
- Competitive salary based on an hourly rate plus additional compensation in on-call bonuses ($100 per week of on-call, as long as all calls are responded to appropriately. Bonus increases to $200 if a call requires you to go out to the property on a holiday)
- On-call is overtime (double time on holidays) as long as 40 hours for the week has been met
