We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and the capability to work effectively on construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Perform pipe threading and ensure proper connections are made for optimal functionality.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Conduct field service calls to troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide timely solutions.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and handymen, on construction sites to ensure project completion.
- Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and working in various environments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Experience with pipe threading techniques.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices on construction sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting as required by the job.
- A valid plumbing license or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
