Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing with the ability to work on various projects, including residential and commercial installations. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to read and interpret schematics, ensuring that all plumbing systems are installed and maintained according to industry standards.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in compliance with local codes and regulations.
Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water, drainage, gas, and other systems.
Perform pipe threading and ensure proper connections for leak-free operation.
Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend solutions.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions regarding plumbing systems.

Skills

Proficient in construction plumbing techniques with hands-on experience in various plumbing tasks.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively.
Experience with commercial driving may be beneficial for transporting materials to job sites.
Familiarity with construction site safety practices and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
