We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in various settings, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems for water, gas, steam, and other fluids.
- Perform pipe threading and tube bending to create custom piping solutions.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Use calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure precise measurements and fittings.
- Rig pipes and other materials as needed for installation or repair projects.
- Ability to read blueprints
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in pipe threading and tube bending techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Ability to plumb systems accurately for optimal performance.
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Be able to perform pressure testing of piping installed per manufacturer specifications.
- Be able to use torches
- Pay will be based on years of experience and quantifiable expertise.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
