Description
As a Level 3 HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing advanced HVAC maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of HVAC systems, including residential and commercial units. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues. You will also provide excellent customer service and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must own basic hand tools
- Ability to complete Tune-ups on equipment of all ages and variety
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair most-all HVAC systems including (Furnaces, A/C’s, RTU’s, Boilers, Mini-splits, Heat pumps, Air handlers, accessories)
- Ability to educate customers on all HVAC equipment (including IAQ) in home
- Ability to communicate issues with customers HVAC systems in a professional manor
- Educating users on how to use correctly and how to upkeep their products
- Ability to create 4-6 options/solutions for customers on every call
- Ability to read and understand most wiring diagrams
- Ability to install HVAC accessories and parts sold, plus great install skills
- Teamwork is a priority. Must be willing to work with other TCHAE employees.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; Push, pull or maneuver heavy items
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and carry ladders, work in confined spaces and to maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces and in high spaces to access HVAC Units
