We are currently seeking a reliable and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as an HVAC Service Technician. By joining Ideal Air, you will grow your career while helping further build our reputation for honest, high-quality heating, cooling, and ventilation services.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heating and cooling systems
- Conduct preventive maintenance, including thoroughly cleaning, so that equipment is operating at its best
- Perform safety inspections, identify safety risks on equipment and provide recommendations to resolve
- Install heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems
- Maintain a clean company truck and keep truck inventory up to date
- Communicate with customers, explain the diagnosis, and confidently lead customers to an informed buying decision
- Complete service invoices, present to customer and collect payment
Qualifications:
- 2+ years direct experience servicing HVAC systems
- HVAC certification or training preferred, but not a deal breaker
- Driver’s license with clean, safe driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Comfortability working in residential homes, roof top, or in confined spaces
- Mechanical skills with a knack for problem solving
- Ability to follow required safety precautions
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
