Qualifications: Experience
3 years years experience at a journeyman level, which equals a minimum of 8,000 hours as a journeyman electrician. Required

Responsibilities:
Job Summary The Electrician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, testing, and installation and troubleshooting of electrical distribution systems and equipment and secondary electrical circuits, equipment and devices. This position responds to general maintenance duties and operates hospital equipment and systems to include building technician operational duties. The position requires the ability to work independently and productively without close supervision and manage multiple assignments in cooperation with staff members to promote teamwork and high customer satisfaction. Encourages teamwork within Supply Chain Support Services and promotes a culture of service excellence.
- Repairs, installs, replaces, tests, and troubleshoots electrical circuits, equipment, devices and appliances.
- Installs new wiring, electrical machinery, equipment and devices in accordance with blueprints, drawings, electrical schematics, specifications and applicable codes.
- Acts as a resource and provides training to others so they can perform light electrical maintenance and repair in a safe manner.
- Installs, repairs and troubleshoots isolated power systems, signal systems, and electrical control systems.
- Assists other department employees or contractors on projects, construction, and installations where electrical expertise and experience is required.
- Assembles, installs, and connects components of electrical switch gear and distribution panels.
- Completes electrical safety inspections and PM's where required.
- Performs general maintenance and building systems operational duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
