We are looking for an HVAC Apprentice to assist our technicians and learn the trade through hands-on experience. As an HVAC Apprentice, you will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow in the HVAC industry and gain valuable experience under the guidance of skilled professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Learn to diagnose HVAC issues and recommend solutions under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Clean and replace air ducts, filters, vents, and other components as directed.
- Support technicians in troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Prepare job sites by setting up equipment, tools, and materials needed for HVAC installations or repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain and organize tools, parts, and inventory in vehicles and storage areas.
- Complete on-the-job training and coursework to advance technical skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship program enrollment is a plus.
- Interest in pursuing a career in HVAC with a willingness to learn.
- Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with tools.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and working in confined or elevated spaces.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required.
- Valid driver’s license to delivers parts to job sites, as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some knowledge or experience with HVAC systems, tools, or repairs.
- Completion of basic HVAC-related coursework or certifications.
- Pass pre-employment and ongoing random drug tests.
