Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including heating units, air conditioning units, and ventilation systems.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions, including electrical and mechanical issues.
- Replace filters, belts, and other components as needed to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems.
- Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repair requests.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including service reports and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and safety standards related to HVAC maintenance and repair.
- Educate clients on HVAC system operation and maintenance practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in HVAC preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC issues.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems related to HVAC.
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures and heights.
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
