Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine plumbing requirements.
- Perform pipe threading and welding as necessary for system installations.
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians to ensure integrated system functionality.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
- Assemble and install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and water heaters.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
- Proficiency in pipe threading techniques and welding practices.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is an advantage.
