Essential Functions:
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide maintenance repairs and operation of boilers, related mechanical equipment and plumbing work.
- Repair fixtures, water heaters, compressed air, vacuum and acid systems, gas & oil lines, sewage, water, hydrants, valves & pumps.
- Oversee boilers and mechanical equipment, read gauges, checks equipment for proper functioning and maintains records.
- Install and repairs new and existing plumbing equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be able to read blueprints, create job estimates and records.
- Understand boiler operations safety protocols and technical manuals
- Operate hand and power tools
- Must possess a background and experience of plumbing and associated equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to make decisions, think rationally.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
- Understanding and commitment to a safe working environment.
- All successful candidates must be able to pass the required physical, background check and drug-screen.
