The Technician will work with and train the District Managers, General Managers and Restaurant employees on basic trouble shooting procedures and plan daily maintenance activities, proper preventative cleaning and maintenance tasks for each location.
Job Responsibilities:
A successful Technician will possess the following:
- Support the Facility Manager and Market Manager in areas where needed
- Active participation in relative operation reviews
- Responsible for repairing equipment and building maintenance
- Prior experience with troubleshooting and repair with electrical, plumbing, HVAC/Refrigeration and Mechanical repair
- Prior experience in planning, scheduling and tracking of equipment maintenance
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, repetitively lift heavy objects, work on ladders or roof tops and work in a variety of different climates
- Willingness to be on call for emergency repairs and work flexible hours including evening and weekend hours when needed-some overnight travel may be required
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to be insured under our policy for driving company vehicles
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to all company restaurants
- Must possess good communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of POS (point of sales) installations
- Assist with Refrigeration repairs
- Others duties as assigned
Essential Functions/Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, lift and grasp
- Must be able to hear well in a loud environment
- Must be able to work with potentially hazardous chemicals
- Must have sufficient mobility to move and operate in confined work area
- Must be able to work inside and outside the restaurant
- Must be able to stand and walk during an 8 to 10 hour shift; occasional shifts in excess of 10 hours may be required due to the demands of the business
- Must be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in kitchen and freezer areas
- Must have knowledge with commercial HVAC/Refrigeration
