Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical systems and be able to work on various commercial projects.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to the following:
-Reading and interpreting blueprints, circuit diagrams and other technical documents.
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
- Have own basic hand tools
-Assemble, install, test or maintain electrical components, equipment, or systems to ensure proper functioning. May require working on ladders, scaffolding or roofs.
- Perform task such as digging trenches to lay conduit.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
-Ability to test and trouble shoot electrical issues.
- Knowledge of the NEC
- **Jobs are located in Tampa, Sarasota and Orlando. Reliable transportation is required. If traveling out side of these areas travel is set up by travel coordinator. A daily per diem is provided.**
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Familiarity with high voltage systems and safety procedures
- Ability to work on low voltage systems for communication purposes
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and practices
- Competence in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
