Job Summary:
HVAC Superintendent’s oversight of all phases of HVAC construction, equipment and material installation.
HVAC Superintendent Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accountable for quality installation of the project.
- Reviewing submittals for accuracy and compliance.
- Identifying potential change orders and communicating them to the Project Manager.
- Assist Project Mangers job projections, coordinate deliveries and attend cost/job reviews.
- Capacity to supervise 2 foremen.
- Manage multiple commercial HVAC projects at a time
- Knowledgeable on measuring all types of ductwork.
- Interpret plumbing and HVAC drawings
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate on-site functions with General Contractors and General Superintendents.
- Perform material take-offs, ordering, materials, and equipment in a timely fashion to maximize field productivity.
- Locating and marking of structural supports for RTU’s and equipment
- Coordination of installation between trades.
- Ensure all on-site employees comply with OSHA standards
- Work with the Project Manager to bring the job in on time and under budget.

HVAC Superintendent Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Commercial HVAC Superintendent.
- At least 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction,
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills and a team player.
- Must be detailed oriented and demonstrate organizational and planning skills.
Education/Certification requirements:
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
