*Overview* We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with the ability to perform equipment repair, maintenance, and installation tasks efficiently. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. *Responsibilities* - Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including boilers, air conditioners, and refrigeration units. - Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment. - Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using tools such as Ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. - Design and implement effective solutions for HVAC system performance improvements. - Collaborate with other technicians and tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. - Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each job. - Follow safety protocols while working with electrical components and refrigerants. - Drive company vehicles to various job sites as required. *Qualifications* - Proven experience in HVAC/R systems installation, repair, and maintenance. - Knowledge of plumbing principles related to HVAC systems is preferred. - Familiarity with welding techniques for metal fabrication is a plus. - Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to HVAC design. - Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. - Certification in HVAC technology or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
