Ameresco has a new opportunity for an experienced HVAC Mechanic to join our Operations Team based in Washington, DC.
First Shift Position - Monday through Friday from 7:00AM - 3:30 PM.
Responsibilities:

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC, commercial refrigeration, boilers, and boiler room related equipment.

Conduct equipment readings critical for operations, efficient performance, maintenance history, and reporting.

Complete internal & external inspections of boilers, burners, boiler rooms, chillers, HVAC and associated controls.

Perform inspections and preventive equipment maintenance.

Provides clear, accurate, customer-focused verbal & written communication.

Ensures top quality service in a timely, efficient, & customer-focused manner.

Ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory safety standards and protocols.

Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Trade school or Vocational High School Degree.
-
Washington DC, Maryland, or Virginia Journeyperson’s HVAC License.
-
Minimum 5 years applicable experience.

Types II and III CFC Certification.
Additional Qualifications:
-
Universal CFC Certification preferred.
-
Excellent knowledge of operating and servicing entire building and support systems including HVAC, Steam, HHW, DDC, refrigeration, pneumatic, and building safety equipment.

Ability to observe and comply with all standard safety codes and practice, and perform work in accordance with recognized trade and Ameresco standards.

Capable of reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and operational manuals associated with his/her work.

Quality-focused and customer service oriented.
