Full Job Description
The Contractor Consultants is seeking skilled Electricians to join our team. Our electrical work involves installing and wiring Traffic Signal systems, Street Lights, Cabinets, Meter Pedestals, fiber optics, Traffic cameras, and driving a bucket/crane truck. Work may be performed in traffic or alongside traffic, with day and night shifts available. Electrical experience is required.

This position is for a family-owned and operated electrical and underground utility contractor, specializing in the installation of traffic signal systems, street lighting, park and trail lighting systems, sports field and high mast lighting, airport lighting systems, and underground phone, cable, power feeders, and fiber optic systems. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Install and wire Traffic Signal systems, Street Lights, Cabinets, Meter Pedestals, fiber optics, and Traffic cameras.
- Operate bucket/crane trucks safely in various traffic conditions.
- Perform electrical work in compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Conduct day and night work as required by project demands.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and project specifications.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Electrical Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience in electrical work.
- CDL License: Must obtain a CDL permit within 60 days and a CDL license within 90 days. The company will split the cost of $250.00 for the license. The fee will be paid upfront by the company and the employee's portion will be deducted over 12 weeks.
- Crane Certification: Required after 15 months of employment. The company will pay half the cost of certification, approximately $1500.00, with the employee's portion deducted over 12 weeks.
- Clark County Journeyman Card: Required by the 1-year mark of employment. Current employees without this certification will have 6 months to pass the test to remain employed. (Can come from a Nevade reciprocal state.)
- OSHA 30: Required within the first year of employment for safety compliance, especially for Foreman positions.
- Tools: Must have personal tools as per a provided list. Additional tools will be supplied by the employer.
Additional Requirements for Electrical Foreman:
- Certifications: IMSA Work Zone Safety and Traffic Signal Tech I & II, OSHA 30.
- IMSA Tech I & II: Recommended completion within 2 years to comply with Clark County project requirements.
- Safety: Strong emphasis on safety and adherence to all OSHA regulations.
