BSG serves a diverse group of customers, including production and custom builders, new and existing homeowners, and commercial clients. This compensation plan is designed to maximize the earnings opportunities for our Sales Professionals while supporting our business strategy to sell recurring monthly revenue (RMR) agreements. Sales Professionals are encouraged to sell agreements to each customer while emphasizing the generation of installation sales revenue with a focus on high quality customer interactions during the sales and installation process. Our various business lines enhance our overall goal to enter long-term relationships with our customers through the sale of RMR agreements.
Position Responsibilities
Sales Professionals are responsible for securing profitable sales and/or upgrades through company-provided and self-generated leads. Sales Professional are responsible for having correct customer and project information (including parts) on sales documentation. Sales Professionals are to visit a customer’s home or business during the installation and follow up with customers after installation to assess overall satisfaction. Sales Professionals should also assist on follow-up with customers who have not paid their invoice in a timely manner. These combined efforts increase customer retention and ensure timely payment of invoices, as well as generate potential customer referrals.
Sales Goals
Each Sales Professional will be assigned a monthly Sales Goals by their Sales Leader. Sales Professionals are expected to achieve 100% of their monthly goal.
Compensation Plan Design
Introductory Period. New Sales Professionals have an introductory period during which they will receive an hourly pay of $20.00 per hour for the first ninety (90) days of employment. Additionally, they will earn fifty (50) percent of their commission-based compensation on products that meet the criteria (explained later) for commission payment during the Introductory period. During the Introductory Period, Sales Professionals will receive appropriate training to prepare them to be successful. If leadership agrees, a Sales Professional can elect to waive the final 30 days of the Introductory Period and enter the compensation plan early.
After the Introductory Period, a Sales Professional’s compensation is based on four plan components: Base Pay, Sales Commission, Incentives, and Benefits.
Base Pay. Sales Professionals receive an annual Base Pay of $18,000 payable over 26 pay periods. Sales Professional will receive $50 per install he activates on site with customer.
