```Duties```
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Install and connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, or other components
- Use a variety of power tools and hand tools to perform electrical work
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any defects or hazards
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure electrical systems are installed properly
```Skills```
- Proficient in all aspects of electrical work including installation, maintenance, and repair
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams accurately
- Familiarity with power tools used in the electrical trade
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and commercial electrical work
- Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations
- Experience working with high voltage systems is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively
- Ability to use hand tools common to the electrical trade
- Knowledge of frame carpentry for proper installation of electrical components
