Overview
We are seeking apprentice and journeyman electricians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and industrial.
Daily Per Diem
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial or commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical wiring
- Test electrical systems using testing devices such as voltmeters and ohmmeters
- Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices
- Ensure that all electrical installations comply with relevant codes
- Collaborate with construction teams to provide electrical expertise
Skills
- Proficiency in electrical work and understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Experience working with power tools and hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety standards
- Knowledge of using voltmeters and ohmmeters for testing electrical systems
- Frame carpentry skills are a plus for certain installations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
