Essential Job Duties:
As a Generator Technician you will be responsible for the scheduled maintenance, of standby power equipment at Residential Locations.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years' experience servicing small engines in an Automotive setting
- Kohler or Generac certifications are a plus but will train the right candidate
- A positive attitude
- Adhere to safe work practices and use proper PPE
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals
- Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment
- Ability to respond to emergency calls as required
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner
- A focus on customer service
- Clean driving record
- Ability to use a laptop, tablet, and cell phone for all service tickets and correspondence
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Complete annual training (company provided)
- Maintain company provided vehicle and tools
Other related Duties:
· Maintain and organize spare parts inventory on truck
· Complete all paperwork in timely manner
· Keep service vehicle clean and neat

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
