- You will perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on various Hospital systems and equipment as required to assure optimum efficiency, reliability and safety.
- You will maintain full compliance with OSHA lock out / tag out safety practices.
- You will consistently utilizes approved PPE for safety as required.
- You will label equipment out of service and informs staff of back up equipment in a timely manner.
- You will properly operate and respond to use of two way radio communications in a timely manner.
- You will assist other department staff and accepts additional responsibilities as given by department Manager.
What qualifications you will need:
- Competent in use of various hand tools, diagnostic and repair equipment.
- Ability to interpret blue prints/drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Good written/oral communication skills.
- Familiar with basic NFPA, ASRAE Standards and the ability to learn JCAHO Standards and develop and implement new policies.
- Good Computer system skills required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A valid Tennessee driver’s license required.
- Three years minimum Healthcare or equivalent experience required.
