Overview:
Smith Co Mechanical LLC is a locally owned company that focuses on work/life balance, understands how important your position is for our company, and gives opportunities to grow your career inside our company. We are currently looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
The HVAC Technician will be someone that enjoys and is able to:
- Replace commercial units
- Built-up air handlers
- VAV boxes (install, maintenance and repair)
- Duct (assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products)
- Insulation (install new and make repairs)
- Troubleshoot systems
- Provide maintenance on above systems
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawing specifications
Requirements:
- Experience in Commercial HVAC installation, and repair
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, background screen
- Team player with good communication skills
- Mechanically inclined with problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with power/hand tools and other equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Proficient knowledge in brazing and sweating copper
- EPA Certification
Other Knowledge & Qualifications
- Disassemble and assemble parts
- Make necessary repairs to equipment and correlating components
- Troubleshooting and critical thinking

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
