Here at Dunwoody, we strive to match PASSION with PURPOSE. We do that by searching for industry experts to teach our students through first-hand experience. To teach in Dunwoody’s Electrical Construction and Maintenance (ELEC) Program, candidates need to have their Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree combined with a minimum amount of hours performing electrical work. You also have the option to further your credentials through Dunwoody’s tuition reimbursement program.

What You Will Get To Do:
- Run labs out of Dunwoody's own 3-story electrical house where students learn how to wire switches, lights, security systems, and much more
- Participate in both SkillsUSA Championships and the NECA Green Energy Challenge Competition
- Teach the manufacturing side of electricity in our brand new Seiman's PLC lab
- Design and develop curriculum that follows new industry trends
- Create exciting labs and lectures that captivate your students
- Share your personal on-the-job experiences in industry
- Network with other professionals & build ties to industry projects
- Share your passion and excitement for the electrical industry with prospective students and their families
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Construction technology or a related degree
- All electrician instructors must meet the minimum standards required by the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry outlined in Electrical Procedures and Training, Section 3801.3865: available at https://www.revisor.mn.gov/rules/?id=3801&format=pdf (pages 11-12)
- 3+ years recent and relevant industry experience
