Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Perform regular inspections to identify defects and troubleshoot malfunctions
- Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure proper electrical installation
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to test electrical systems
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications
- Journeyman/Journeywoman or Journeyperson Electrician license required
- Proven experience as a Commercial or Industrial Electrician
- Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and NEC codes
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred
