Miami Shores Plumbing is a small business in Miami, FL. We are looking for a reliable Counter Person/Dispatcher to act as a communication point for emergency and non-emergency calls. You will receive requests, transmit messages and track vehicles. The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed, especially in emergency situations. You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision. The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information. Our goal is to service our customers and our employees.
Requirements
- Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
- Active listener with excellent communication skills
- Sound judgement and critical thinking
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Generate sales leads
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
- Typing and knowledge of QuickBooks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)
