We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician who has strong morals and values and is hungry to continue to learn and grow. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. Your skills are needed to teach and guide the next generation of electricians, ensure safety on the jobsite, and leave our customers speechless for the outstanding quality of work performed on a daily basis.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Collaborate with construction teams to plan electrical installations in new buildings or renovations
- Perform electrical inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions
- Install and repair wiring, lighting fixtures, outlets, and circuit breakers
- Test electrical systems using specialized tools and equipment
- Collaborate with other electricians and contractors on larger projects
- Provide guidance and training to apprentice electricians
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Master Electrician in both commercial and industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Familiarity with derating
- Experience working with power tools and electrical testing equipment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Flexible in schedule and willing to go on 'after hours' emergency calls for customers when needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
