Job Title: Commercial Plumbing Estimator

Location: Buda, Texas

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Plumbing Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs and timelines for commercial plumbing projects, ensuring competitive bids while maintaining profitability. This role requires a thorough understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and construction practices, as well as strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

· Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial plumbing projects based on plans, specifications, and site visits.

· Bid Preparation: Develop comprehensive bid proposals that include materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

· Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Source and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and maintain relationships.

· Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project requirements and expectations.

· Cost Analysis: Analyze project costs and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.

· Documentation: Maintain detailed records of estimates, bids, and correspondence related to each project.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a Commercial Plumbing Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.

· In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and materials.

· Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Planswift) and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
