Shaw Air is now hiring positions for HVAC Lead Installers and helpers. We are a rapidly growing company in need of knowledgeable and experienced HVAC Installers with room to grow quickly.
This HVAC Installer position is primarily responsible for installing various types of residential/commercial HVAC units and leaving them in pristine condition. Installs must be done to code and completed following the Shaw Air process that you will be trained on. Applicants must be motivated, show up on time, hard working, be able to meet deadlines, care about quality, and be a team player.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to install the following
- Ductless mini-splits
- Residential style split systems
- Packaged roof top units of all sizes
- Various commercial split systems
- Make-up air units
- Major to minor install and design of ductwork / ducted systems of all types.
- Mechanical piping
- Refrigeration piping
- Water source heat pumps
OVERALL GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Install HVAC equipment according to safety requirements, company standards, and manufacturer specifications with great attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings / prints for job lay out and take off
- Job management skills / ability to be self starter , work independently as lead laying others out on work to be performed
- Follow directions
- Have a clean driving record
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in A/C equipment, is preferred, helper positions is case by case.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within an area of responsibility.
- Ability to participate in a staff with a positive attitude and in a productive manner by motivating, developing and contributing to the company community.
- Ability to utilize and cope with company resources.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
For the Lead Installer position we will require photographs of 3 prior installs.

***Brand new cellphones and tablets will be provided, as well as a work vehicle and for Lead installers and will be able to take their vehicles home after probationary period***

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
