Position Overview: As the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient management of inventory, timely order fulfillment, and adherence to safety and quality standards. You will lead a team of warehouse staff, coordinate with other departments, and manage the overall functionality of the warehouse to support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company policies.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and shipping HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical products and equipment.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe and organized working environment.
- Collaborate with the procurement and sales teams to forecast inventory needs and plan for seasonal fluctuations.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, equipment, and transactions using warehouse management software.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or delivery delays.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in the HVAC or related industry.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems and basic computer applications.
- Knowledge of HVAC products and equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
