*Overview* As an Apprentice Electrician, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop electrical skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. This role is ideal for individuals looking to kickstart a career in the electrical field and gain hands-on experience in various electrical projects. *Responsibilities* - Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment - Learn to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts - Work alongside journeyman/journeywoman electricians to troubleshoot electrical issues - Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment under supervision - Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations on job sites *Skills* - Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in electrical work - Basic knowledge of frame carpentry for installation purposes - Understanding of electrical systems and components - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics - Exposure to industrial or commercial electrician environments is a plus - Knowledge of low voltage systems is advantageous - Experience working on construction sites is beneficial
