Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration installations, along with a desire for professional growth and development. This role involves installing and servicing HVAC and refrigeration equipment such as rooftop units (RTUs), air handling units (AHUs), chillers, exhaust systems, piping, ductwork, line sets, and refrigeration systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, the ability to work collaboratively, and excellent problem-solving skills. This is a full-time position with opportunities for advancement in a family-oriented company.
Key Responsibilities:
· HVAC/Refrigeration Installation: Install commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including RTUs, AHUs, chillers, exhaust systems, line sets, piping, ductwork, and refrigeration systems according to project specifications.
· System Start-Up: Assist in testing and starting up HVAC and refrigeration systems after installation to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards.
· Team Collaboration: Work as part of an installation team, taking direction from the foreman and project manager to ensure all work is performed safely and accurately.
· Material Management: Ensure proper handling, use, and installation of materials and equipment on the job site.
· Client Communication: Communicate with clients in a professional manner to address concerns and provide updates on project progress.

· Safety Compliance: Follow company safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment on all job sites.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of field experience in the commercial HVAC and refrigeration service or installation industry.
· Licenses/Certifications:
o Valid Driver’s License
o Universal EPA Certification
o R410A Refrigerant Certification
· Technical Knowledge: Strong mechanical ability and knowledge of refrigeration systems, including the installation and servicing of equipment.
· Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from foremen and supervisors.
· Problem Solving: Self-motivated and capable of troubleshooting issues effectively and efficiently.
· Education: High school diploma or GED required; completion of an HVAC or refrigeration trade school or apprenticeship program is preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks such as walking, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and working in various weather conditions.
· Exposure to extreme heat, cold, electrical shock, and hazardous materials may occur.
· Must be able to safely work at heights and around moving mechanical parts.
