The 3rd Year Commercial Apprentice Electrician assists in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial settings. Under the guidance of a licensed electrician, the apprentice will work on various projects, learning to apply advanced techniques.

Salary: $19.00 Per Hour
Hours: 6:30am to 3pm (Monday-Friday)
- Electrical System Installation:
- Assist in the installation of electrical wiring, conduit, and electrical components in commercial buildings.
- Help with setting up lighting systems, power distribution units, and other electrical systems.
- Maintenance and Repair:
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on existing electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues under supervision.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Project Support:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Assist in planning and organizing materials and tools required for electrical projects.
- Learning and Development:
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.
- Prepare for the journeyman electrician licensing exam by enhancing practical and theoretical knowledge.
- Completion of 3rd-year apprenticeship training.
- Basic understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
