Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Engineer to join our team. As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of various building systems, ensuring their optimal performance and efficiency. Your expertise in precision measuring instruments, high voltage systems, and mechanical knowledge will be essential in this role.
Duties:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions or breakdowns
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and reliability of building systems
- Monitor and adjust building automation systems, including logic controllers
- Respond to emergency situations and perform necessary repairs or shutdowns
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors for equipment installations or repairs
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory
- Provide excellent customer service to building occupants by addressing their concerns or requests promptly
Experience:
- Previous experience in Commercial Buildings or field service roles
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use precision measuring instruments
- Familiarity with high voltage systems and electrical safety procedures
- Technical HCAV Experience is a Plus
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions
- Strong customer service orientation
