We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician - Generator Installer to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
The Electrician - Generator Installer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing generators for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Perform general electrical maintenance.
- Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
- Install generators and ensure they are working efficiently and safely.
- Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
- Perform circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
- Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
- Good knowledge of various test equipment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an electrician.
- Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
- Knowledge of generators and experience with generator installation is a must.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and dexterity.
Preferred Skills:
- Additional certification in generator installation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with various types of generators and power distribution systems.
- Experience with renewable energy systems and backup power solutions.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
