Buildforce offers commercial electricians real job security and higher pay. We are looking for a Journeyman with experience running crews as a Lead, ordering materials, filling out paperwork etc. This will be a temp-to-hire position and you will be interviewing with the contractor. Jobs will be in and around Houston. Pay rate can be discussed during the interview and will depend on experience.
Hourly rate is between $30 - $36 and hour.
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
- Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
- Troubleshoot motor and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
- Adhere to all quality and safety codes
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
- Valid TDLR Journeyman License is required
- Experience leading a crew of apprentices on commercial construction projects
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Coordinate with management regarding manpower, time and attendance, material handling
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
