Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC systems to identify and address any issues or defects.
- Install new HVAC systems and components, including ductwork, vents, and thermostats.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex HVAC problems using schematics and technical knowledge.
- Repair and replace HVAC equipment, including compressors, condensers, and fans.
- Work safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards.
- Operate a company van and travel to various job sites, as needed.
- Collaborate with other technicians and management to resolve issues and improve system performance.
- Document all work completed, including maintenance and repair records.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in the HVAC industry, preferably in field service and property maintenance.
- Proven experience with equipment repair, including appliance repair and ammonia refrigeration.
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles and the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Ability to plumb and install pipes, as needed.
- Experience with van driving and ability to travel to various job sites.
- Strong maintenance and repair skills, with a focus on preventive maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
