Electrician Apprentice- Tampa Florida
Acree is an award-winning home services company seeking to hire additional Electrician Apprentices for our growing company. Acree has been in business since 1967 (over 50 years!). We proudly service the Tampa community and the other counties: Pinellas, Pasco, some Polk, and Manatee.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist the Lead Electrician with light repair and installation work.
- Observe and learn all aspects of the trade.
- Wear floor savers while in the client’s home and maintain a neat work area when performing a repair or scheduled service.
- Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
- Always be courteous, respectful, and pleasant to the customer.
- Be accurate and timely with all paperwork.
- Obey the company Code of Ethics and the Team Rules.
- Maintained a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck.
- Always be safety-conscious both on the job and while driving.
- Represent the Acree way- Positive, Professional, Passionate.
Qualifications:
- MUST have 3-5 years of residential and commercial experience as an electrician apprentice.
- MUST have a Valid Driver's license.
- Undergo background check, drug screen, and driving record screen.
- Positive attitude
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability and willingness to learn.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects 10 - 50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100lbs.
Experience/ Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
Schedule: Saturday-Wednesday.
Compensation:
- Starting at $18-$20HR, based on experience.
