Service Manager - Commercial HVAC

Responsibilities:

Service Team Management:

Directly supervise the service team, including technicians, dispatchers, and estimators.
Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.

Service and Maintenance Operations:

Oversee daily service operations with a focus on prioritizing customer satisfaction.
Ensure timely completion of maintenance visits, service calls and projects.

Customer Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Resolve issues promptly and identify opportunities for growth.

Scheduling and Dispatch:

Optimize scheduling and dispatch processes to minimize response times.
Reduce costs and increase productivity.

Quality Control:

Implement and maintain quality control processes.
Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Reporting and Analytics:

Prepare regular reports on service performance, customer satisfaction, and team productivity.
Provide insights for improvement.

Compliance:

Ensure staff adheres to health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in HVAC or a related field.
Degree in a related field or equivalent field experience.
Extensive experience with commercial boilers and chillers.
Strong understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems.
Certifications or licensing in HVAC preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interact effectively with diverse clients and internal teams.
Experience with service management software such as ServiceTrade or similar platforms.
