Penny Electric in Clark County, Nevada, is seeking a certified electrical journeyman to lead our Commercial Department of contracts and services. The ideal candidates we are seeking would be an experience electrical journeyman who is adaptable in leading and communicating with multigenerational team members using experienced leadership skills to lead his team with efficiency, quality, and lead a performance that brings achievement. Penny Electric has expertise with projects in every field of electrical construction including panel changes, spa, solar, pools, residential, and commercial.
Job position requires the experience and availability to be responsible in overseeing and managing multiple job projects with a field team, collaborating status to division managers, department Admins, and an Operating Owner that is passionate about his employees, customers, and our reputation as a team.
Qualifications:
· Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with crew members, customers, contractors, suppliers, and vendors.
· Experience and knowledge of installation or assistance with repairs, maintenance, and testing of commercial, industrial, and residential electrical systems.
· Experience and knowledge of troubleshooting or assisting team members with troubleshooting electrical systems.
· Experience in understanding civil, architectural, electrical drawings/plans/blueprints for the specific electrical wiring, layouts of the electrical systems and the proper way of testing circuits.
· Experience with Dimensions, Alignments, Clearances, NEC Codes, Compliances, Regulation codes, Health and Safety, and Project Coordination from beginning to a successful end.
· Experienced knowledge of voltage systems, components, and controls for troubleshooting during installations, materials, and product knowledge, experienced with operations of tools and equipment of the trade.
· Exceptional customer service in estimating job, communicating job status, and delivering levels of customer expectations.
Requirements:
· Industry electrical standard tools required for employment
· Oversee, or measure, or assist team with measuring, cutting, bending, threading etc. and install wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems and other wire systems.
· Oversee, or install, or assist with the installation, repair, maintenance and testing of commercial, industrial, and residential electrical systems
· OSHA 30 or in process of achieving
· Experience and working knowledge of the NEC Codes
· Valid Driver’s license with 3-year safe driving history
· Able to stand for extended periods of time, use stairs, and ladders
· Job position includes crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling sitting and reaching
· Periodically, may be exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures
· Able to lift heavy objects more than 50 pounds, push and pull objects and perform repetitive motion of arms, hands, and fingers
· Adhere to Penny Electric safety policies and procedures
