Human Resources Manager

We are a reputable HVAC company with multiple locations and a dedicated team of 60+ employees. We specialize in delivering top-quality heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services to residential clients. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to join our team and help foster a positive and productive work environment.
Position Overview:
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all HR functions across our eight locations. This role will include recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, particularly in a multi-location environment, and will be skilled in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our company's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding. Ensure that all locations are staffed with qualified and motivated employees.
- Employee Relations:
Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues. Address concerns, mediate disputes, and promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Performance Management:
Oversee the performance management process, including setting goals, conducting evaluations, and developing improvement plans. Support managers in addressing performance issues.
- Policy Development & Compliance: Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures that comply with federal, state, and local laws. Ensure consistent application across all locations.
- Benefits Administration:
Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. Provide guidance to employees on benefits-related questions and ensure that all programs are effectively communicated.
- Training & Development:
Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities for employees. Implement training programs that align with company goals and employee needs.
- HR Reporting & Metrics:
Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on key HR metrics such as turnover, recruitment effectiveness, and employee satisfaction. Use data to inform HR strategies and decisions.
- Safety & Compliance:
Ensure that all locations comply with OSHA standards and other safety regulations. Conduct safety audits and provide training to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Human Resources management role, preferably in a multi-location environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proven experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is preferred.
