75% - Provides lead oversight by directing and overseeing the work of contracted plumbers and reviewing project blueprints and drawings; performs journey level plumbing installation, inspection, test, maintenance, and repair work on water, sewer, and other plumbing systems and equipment; performs necessary repairs and alterations to plumbing installation including piping systems and fixtures for water, gas, steam, compressed air, storm drain facilities, waste disposal systems, tests, checks, and repairs leaks of liquid or gas plumbing systems; clears clogged pipes and grease traps; measures, cuts, threads, or bends various types of pipes; connects pipe sections with appropriate disposal systems; conducts inspection and preventative maintenance of plumbing facilities, equipment, and systems; works from sketches, drawings, and blueprints to install, connect, maintain and repair backflow devices, appliances, sinks, drains, sump and circulatory pumps, hot water heaters and tanks, valves, fittings, and other pipes and their fittings
15% - Performs general maintenance and cleanup work as required; maintains tools, equipment, and work site in a clean and safe working condition
10% - Reviews materials, needs, requisitions; estimates job costs and purchases materials; maintains work records, logs, work orders, and related documentation; attends and participates in meetings, and District and/or college-provided training or information sessions; performs other duties as assigned
