Electrical Technician
The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical functions of a facility. They must hold the required knowledge to ensure the safety of the building for the present and future. The Electrical Technician will complete jobs from repairs to installation of a new commercial building.
Below is a list of the general duties and responsibilities for the role of Electrical Technician. Please note, this list is not fully-inclusive and is intended only to be a general guide. As such, your direct report/Manager/Executive Team may assign additional tasks on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities:
· Plan, supervise, and effectively complete assigned projects
· Contribute to standards and procedures of electrical equipment standardization
· Participate in meetings for projects and absorb information to successfully complete the job
· Carry out diagnoses and repair electrical equipment and facilities
· Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures
· Troubleshoot problems by thoroughly analyzing quality data
· Keep accurate records of work performed
· Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within the specified timeline
Qualifications:
· Valid Texas Journeyman License
· Valid Driver’s License
· Clean driving record
· Extensive knowledge of the commercial construction electrical field
· Incredible organization and time management ability
· Punctuality
· Effective written and oral communication skills
· Conversational Spanish skills is appreciated but not required
· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
· Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work with constantly changing priorities
· Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with team members to complete projects
· Incredible organization and time management ability
· Ability to take on multiple responsibilities and adequately multitask
· Capable of positive teamwork and ethical attitude

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
