Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial settings, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes and safety standards. The Electrician will play a crucial role in building and maintaining efficient electrical systems for various projects.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential and commercial environments.
- Work with low voltage and medium voltage systems as required.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and Ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Residential and Commercial Electrician.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as Ohmmeters.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.
- Strong commitment to safety practices in the workplace.

REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 5 years experience working as a residential or commercial service electrician.
- Proficient in customer service and trouble shooting electrical issues.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Experience with lighting installations.
- Ability to troubleshoot lighting and learn lighting control systems.
- Rough in and trim out new residential and light commercial construction.
- Performs all electrical tasks with general supervision.
- Ability to work independently and self-manage.
- Complete daily service tickets in timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to follow electrical code manuals to install and repair electrical systems.
- Texas Drivers license and a clean driving record.
- Must be physically fit, able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
- Must be able to climb a ladder and use job site facilities.
- Current Apprentice, Journeyman or Residential Wireman license with a valid TDLR.
- NO SMOKING.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.36 - $42.53 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
