We are seeking an Electrical Foreman for our Electrical Division at our Richmond location. Our Electricians install new equipment, maintain and repair systems to ensure electrical work is in accordance with the NEC and local jurisdiction codes. Key Responsibilities:
- Project oversight, supervising, leading and assisting teams of electricians and apprentices. Ensuring timely completion of projects, while assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Ensure all installations comply with local, state, and national electrical codes and standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and adherence to safety regulations.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs, time sheets, and project updates.
- Provide regular progress reports to the project manager, highlighting any issues or delays.
- Train and mentor electricians and apprentices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, noise, and potential hazards.
- Ability to work in confined places,
- Ability to lift, bend & carry heavy materials and equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical work preferred.
- Valid journeyman or master electrician license.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team to make decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in using electrical tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.
- Proven experience in electrical commercial and project management
- 5-7+ years industry experience
- OSCHA 30 and CPR certification (Preferred)
- Review/ interpret blueprint & schematic
- Ability to follow NEC electrical code manuals to install and repair electrical systems
- Must have valid drivers license, satisfactory driving record, and able to pass all pre-employment screenings
